Essie: Lady Like

If you would like to make a great impression during an interview or important meeting, Essie: Lady Like is the polish you should go for. I didn't think I would like this nude mauve color, but I picked it up at CVS while shopping for my Nailtiques Formula 1 which I used as my base coat. But, I love, love love it! It goes opaque in two coats which is always a plus. For my top-coat I used the Seche Vite Top coat.

Essie: Lollipop and Miguel

I just love the song "Sure Thing" by Miguel. It would be great to have that sung to me :( But, my nails look great and thats all that matters! I can't believe that they got so long. Years of biting my nails and they could've been strong long ago!
Essie Lollipop is the red that I am wearing. It goes opaque in one to two coats and makes your nails look like candy. Topcoat is the Seche Vite quick dry.

I go "Nude" for Campaigning..

I had to change my polish to something more conservative for tomorrows "Door knocking" for the Congressional District 9 race to fill Weiner's seat. So, I went with O.P.I's "I need space"...sounds like my ex- boyfriends mantra!

Well this is a grueling 4 coats with a Seche Vite Top Coat. I have recently opted for the elongated clawish oval shape and this color fits well. It feels very feminine and classy.

And...The olive oil. Didn't you know? It is good for the cuticles. :)

Chanel Peridot Review- Fall 2011 Color

This was my first Chanel purchase ever. I bought it because all of the hype and my new found love of duochrome. This color is a    foily amazing gold that turns green in the sun or when you move your fingers around. It chipped at the tips of two nails after four days. It has good wear despite Chanels track record of chipping lately. I admit, $25.00 on a nail polish is a lot, but I feel it was totally worth it. Women on the subway litterally stare at my nails. This color however is a no go for board meetings as I wore this at a serious Campaign meeting and felt out of place. Maybe a taupe or a nude wouldve done better. But, so what! Its gorgeous!
